Caso Milano was founded in 1899 in Milan, Italy. In 1906 it won a gold medal at the World's Fair in Milan. It became one of the most prominent companies in the field of perfumery and shaving in Italy.

Cella Milano was founded at the end of the 19th century as Caso Milano. Men were clean-shaven, but often had large moustaches. Milan was an important centre in Europe for fashion, theatre and fashionable cafés.
In the 19th century, barbershops became a significant phenomenon in all the major European cities. Cella Milano created (shaving) soaps, perfumes, brylcreem and other items that belonged in a barbershop.
The highly concentrated formula and unique production process of the Cella Milano soaps made the products popular across Europe, and the company won several awards at the start of the 20th century.
After the safety razor became popular following the First World War, classic wet shaving also became something gentlemen began to do at home. For this, Cella Milano developed their classic shaving products featuring the distinctive icon of a man with shaving foam on his face, better known as Mr. Felice (Mr. Happy).
Even now, more than 125 years later, Cella Milano remains an authority in the field of shaving products, and Mr. Happy still features prominently on the packaging.

In 2026 the Cella Milano 1899 brand was added to the range. Although Moquer was originally best known for its many hair styling products, today you can find everything a modern man could need.
The classic and affordable shaving items from Cella Milano are a fine addition to the European range in the Moquer shop. And with such a history, the brand belongs in any shop with a focus on classic wet shaving.
Cella Milano products
Cella Milano has a number of product lines. The red packaging belongs to their Original line with well-known shaving products. The green line was later added, featuring certified organic products.
The shaving items complement one another nicely for an ideal wet shaving routine. The shaving products are also relatively affordable and have pleasant scents. A great foundation is the Cella Milano Crema da Barba (shaving cream), followed by the Cella Milano Balsamo Dopobarba (aftershave balm). Both also available in an organic variant.
