Conditioner
What is a hair conditioner?
A conditioner, or hairconditioner, is ideal for use after shampoo. A conditioner is not meant for cleansing, but rather for moisturising. Washing your hair always results in the loss of some natural oils, so it is important to replenish these oils, and conditioner helps with this.

Hair conditioner for men
Most men will probably use a shampoo, but conditioner sometimes remains somewhat overlooked, even though using a good hair conditioner is almost as important as washing your hair. Nowadays, there are plenty of options available for men. While the range of conditioners for men might still be a bit limited in supermarkets or drugstores, especially if you are looking for natural products, the Moquer shop has plenty of options.
Most brands offering good shampoos also have a suitable conditioner to complement them. If you want even more hydration, there is also a leave-in conditioner available. This is a conditioner that you do not rinse out, but leave in your hair for extra moisture. It is ideal cor men with very dry or frizzy hair.
What does a hair conditioner do?
A conditioner 'conditions' your hair. Conditioning your hair practically means moisturising and nourishing it. A conditioner helps rehydrate your hair after washing.
It nourishes your hair with essential nutrients to restore a healthy shine and make it stronger. Many men use only shampoo, but using a conditioner as well will give better results. Some prefer using silicone-free conditioners, and we have a separate category for those.
How to use conditioner?
Use hair conditioner after washing your hair. Apply the conditioner to damp hair and distribute evenly. For the best results, apply conditioner from mid-length to the ends of your hair.
Shampoo is often massaged onto the scalp, but this is not necessary with conditioner. Let the conditioner sit for 1 to 2 minutes. Meanwhile, you could, for example, apply body wash to save time.
Then rinse the conditioner thoroughly unless you have used a leave-in conditioner, which you leave in your hair for extra hydration.
Best hair conditioner for men
Finding a good hair conditioner is fortunately easier than choosing a shampoo. If you have already chosen a shampoo, you can often select the conditioner from the same brand. Almost every men's brand offers a matching conditioner alongside shampoo, which complements it well in terms of ingredients and fragrance.
With shampoo, you need to consider your hair type, thickness, and so on, but conditioner basically always has the same function. One conditioner might offer slightly more hydration than another, but the differences are much smaller than with shampoos.
Because many men choose a conditioner from the same brand as their shampoo, Hanz de Fuko Natural Conditioner and Brickell Conditioner are popular choices. If you use the O’douds Shampoo to reduce hair loss, the O’douds Conditioner would be the logical choice.
And these are just a few popular examples, as we have over 40 conditioners for men available in the Moquer shop!
