Apothecary 87

This British brand was founded by Sam W. Martin in 2013. He wanted to start his own business in the bar and cocktail industry, but no one took him seriously at a young age. Therefore, he decided to grow a beard to appear older. It worked excellently, and people started recognizing him more because of his beard. However, a beard requires care, and that's when he started exploring the possibility of producing his own products.

The name Apothecary 87 is a reference to his grandfather, who passed away at the age of 87 in the founding year. Sam himself was born in 1987, hence the name Apothecary87. The brand began with beard products, later expanding to include shaving and hair styling products. Today, Apothecary87 is a well-known name in the barber and beard world.

Apothecary 87 and Moquer

In the early years of Moquer, there was a brief collaboration with Apothecary87, but since 2023, Apothecary 87 products are once again available in the Moquer shop. It is a great brand to maintain a balance between modern salon brands and classic barber brands in the shop. This ensures that there are products for every man in the shop that suit their preferences.

The expectation is that the collaboration will grow in the coming years, leading to more Apothecary 87 products becoming available in the shop. Apothecary 87 offers several product lines, including beard and skincare products, but we started with their popular hair styling products. Although Moquer sells many other products, hair styling products are originally what Moquer is known for.
